Cedar Park Med is hiring a Physical Therapist for an immediate 13-week assignment with possible extension.
This role is ideal for an experienced PT who can step into a clinical setting quickly, manage a patient caseload independently, and collaborate effectively with the broader care team. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to both patient care and program development.
Shift / Schedule
Position Overview
As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and support functional improvement in accordance with physician orders and clinical standards. This role requires strong clinical judgment, timely documentation, and the ability to collaborate with patients and interdisciplinary team members to establish appropriate treatment goals.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and implement treatment programs in accordance with indicated procedures
Formulate specific patient treatment goals in collaboration with the care team and patients
Prepare and maintain notes and discharge records in a timely manner
Attend designated clinics, rounds, and conferences and provide patient updates as needed
Participate in educational programs for staff, students, volunteers, and other healthcare personnel
Train new staff members and serve as a clinical instructor for senior-level students
Support and facilitate new program development
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
New York State Physical Therapy license or eligibility required
Minimum 2 years of experience required
Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Acute care or hospital-based experience preferred
