Hamilton City Council delivers substantial and diverse procurement activity spanning construction and infrastructure, professional services, ICT, maintenance, fleet, and operational goods and services. Working within a centre‑led procurement model, the Procurement team provides the policy, standards, systems, insights, and assurance frameworks that enable great procurement across the organisation.
We’re looking for a Procurement Insights Analyst to build the data, reporting, and insights foundation that supports smarter decision‑making, stronger compliance, and improved value for money.
About the role
As our Procurement Insights Analyst, you will create and maintain a trusted procurement data environment and reporting suite that gives a clear line of sight to spend, compliance, supplier risk, performance, and value delivery. You’ll turn raw data into meaningful insights that help leaders and buyers make better decisions and guide continuous improvement across the Council’s procurement activity.
This is a highly influential role that sits at the centre of our procurement transformation, partnering with leaders to uplift capability, enhance transparency, and drive evidence‑based improvement.
