Qualified Supervisor - Plant Health Care

Job Store is currently recruiting for a Plant Health Care and Lawn Care Qualified Supervisor. You must have a Qualified Supervisor license in ornamental categories 206 & 207 with the Colorado Department of Agriculture. Working knowledge of tree, turf and ornamental plant species, diseases and insect infestation and pesticide application is required. Customer service skills and a professional demeanor are needed, as you will be interacting with clients regularly.

You will be responsible for performing estimates for all fertilization, insect and disease control on both turf and ornamentals. You will also be assigning work orders to your team of about 10 technicians for routing and completion - main areas of operation will be turf fertilization, bed and border weed control, turf weed control and ornamental pest control. You will work closely with the arbor department supervisor and make sure that your department's work meets client expectations and company standards.

Light production and/or Plant Health Care sales may be involved with this position. Must be open to a variety of tasks.

We will provide company transportation and devices needed for mobile workforce - all work is done remotely through iPhones and iPads, so working knowledge of this technology is required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Supervisor license from the Colorado Department of Agriculture in categories 206 & 207
• Customer service skills and professional demeanor
• Supervisory experience preferred, but not required
• Working knowledge of Apple iOS systems, as all work is done through a mobile workforce on iPhones and iPads - provided by the company
• Self-starter and "out of the box" thinker personality
• ISA Certified Arborist designation is a plus, but is not mandatory

This is a Direct Hire opportunity, year-round, full-time. Pay is $20-30/hour DOE. Pay is subject to increase upon conversation with supervisor.
