Registered Nurse - Adult - Med Surg (Telemetry)
Cedar Park Med is hiring experienced travel Registered Nurses (RNs) for night shift Adult Med/Surg openings. This opportunity is ideal for an RN with recent acute care Med/Surg experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment and can perform the majority of patient care functions with minimal orientation and supervision.
Schedule / Shift
- Night Shift: Adult Med/Surg Units
- Every other weekend required
- Some holidays required
- 5-month assignment with possible extension

Required Qualifications
- Current New York State RN registration
- Current BLS certification or ability to be recertified
- Minimum of 1.5 years of recent experience within the past 2 years in an acute care facility of similar size and level as the hospital
- Traveler candidates must have experience in hospitals of equal or greater size or in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers
- Ability to start IVs, draw labs, and monitor telemetry
Preferred Qualifications
- Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience preferred
- EPIC experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in Adult Med/Surg acute care units
- Perform the majority of patient care skills needed in the specialty with minimal orientation and supervision
- Complete nursing assessments and monitor patient condition
- Start IVs, draw labs, and monitor telemetry as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to support high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital policies and procedures
