Registered Nurse - RN - Ambulatory
Cedar Park Med is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) – Ambulatory for a 13-week assignment in an outpatient setting.
This role is ideal for an RN with strong recent acute care experience and required primary care experience who is comfortable providing patient care with minimal orientation and supervision. Candidates with ambulatory or urgent care experience are strongly preferred.
- Shift / Schedule
- Day shift (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
- 8-hour shifts | 5 days per week
- 13-week assignment with possible extension
Position Overview
As an RN in the Ambulatory setting, you will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced outpatient environment, perform clinical assessments, and support safe, efficient patient flow with minimal supervision. This role requires strong nursing judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality care in a primary care-focused setting.
Required Qualifications

Current New York State RN Registration

Current BLS certification or ability to be recertified

Minimum 1.5 years of recent RN experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and level as the hospital

Primary care experience required
