SUMMARY
We are seeking a technically strong Product Owner to lead the evolution and optimization of our core utilization management applications. This role owns workflow optimization, and routing logic to ensure our platforms effectively support clinical review, authorization decisioning, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate combines technical aptitude with deep workflow understanding to drive scalable, compliant, and high-performing clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for documenting technical requirements, with visuals, across all assigned application workflows.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations & Compliance to align workflows with HealthHelp business rules and regulatory standards to gather, define, and prioritize requirements.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning activities.
• Partner closely with Engineering and QA to validate logic for successful implementation.
• Ensure user story statuses are current and include detailed logic, edge cases, and clear acceptance criteria.
Technical & Functional Leadership
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand application workflows, system dependencies, and data flow across clinical platforms.
• Comfortable using SQL to validate system outcomes, investigate defects, and support root-cause analysis in partnership with engineering teams.
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries (SELECT statements, joins, filters, aggregations)
• Review and interpret stored procedures to understand application logic and system behavior
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing competing priorities.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using Azure DevOps.
Compensation Disclosure
The base salary range for this position is $115,000 to $135,000 annually. This represents the base pay range that we reasonably expect to offer for this position.
Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, education, skillset, and location.
In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for performance-based bonuses, incentive pay, or commissions, which are not included in the listed base salary range.
