What’s the position?
As Senior Director - Sports Betting PMR Promotions (Games Powered by Past Motor Racing), you will be responsible for the design, execution, and continual enhancement of Hard Rock Bet’s promotional strategy across the sports betting PMR business in Florida. Reporting to the VP, you will translate Hard Rock Bet’s broader marketing and engagement vision into a cohesive, data-driven promotions and reinvestment function.
This role requires deep online sports betting domain expertise, including a strong understanding of player behavior, promotional mechanics, and the commercial dynamics that drive sustainable growth. You will be expected to bring informed point-of-view leadership to how sports betting PMR promotions are structured, deployed, and optimized across the customer lifecycle.
Sitting at the intersection of promotions, CRM, analytics, and product, this role also serves as a key driver of testing, experimentation, and innovation. You will lead a disciplined test-and-learn approach, continuously evolving promotional strategies through data-backed experimentation, new mechanics, and creative concepts that improve engagement, retention, and long-term player value within the sports betting PMR offering.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Alignment & Execution
Collaborate closely with the VP to ensure PMR promotional initiatives align with overarching marketing strategy, brand positioning, and organizational objectives.
Translate executive-level vision into clear, actionable promotional and reinvestment roadmaps that drive engagement, retention, and profitability across the sports betting PMR offerings.
Own programs within the overarching Sports Betting PMR promotional strategy, ensuring alignment across offer design, lifecycle deployment, reinvestment levels, and player segmentation.
Sports Betting PMR Promotions & Reinvestment Leadership
Lead the development and execution of Sports Betting PMR promotional frameworks that balance player value with commercial performance.
Own Sports Betting PMR reinvestment strategies for specific programs, including offer structures, reward mechanics, and value optimization across player segments.
Ensure promotional spend is intentional, data-informed, and continuously optimized to support sustainable growth and ROI
Innovation & Forward Thinking
Champion a test-and-learn culture across Sports Betting PMR promotions, encouraging experimentation, iteration, and continuous improvement.
Partner with analytics, product, and technology teams to develop new promotional concepts, mechanics, and personalization capabilities.
Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies, proposing new concepts to keep Hard Rock Bet at the forefront of online Sports Betting PMR promotions.
Deep Digital Expertise
Leverage a strong understanding of online sports betting operations, player behavior, and lifecycle dynamics to shape compelling, market-leading promotional offerings.
Collaborate closely with product, partnerships, and content teams to align promotions with game launches, new features, seasonal moments, and strategic initiatives.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Sports Betting PMR promotions team, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and innovation
Provide mentorship, structure, and clear development paths for team members as the function scales.
Partner closely with Loyalty, Acquisition, Product, Brand, Analytics, Partnerships, and Operations teams to integrate Sports Betting PMR promotions seamlessly across the business.
Performance & Measurement
Define, monitor, and optimize KPIs that measure the effectiveness of Sports Betting PMR promotions and reinvestment strategies.
Use data and insights to inform decision-making, refine tactics, and continuously improve performance.
Manage Sports Betting PMR promotional budgets and spend, ensuring disciplined execution and timely achievement of business goals.
