About the project
We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer (PHP) to join our Client's remote team. This person will be responsible for design/architecture, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of web based applications.

Requirements
PHP Expertise: 5+ years of experience building commercial-grade web applications with a deep, "under-the-hood" understanding of Symfony.
Architectural Excellence: Proven track record of applying SOLID principles and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) to create maintainable, scalable codebases.
Data Mastery: Strong experience in relational data modeling and hands-on management of MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL.
Agile Veteran: 3+ years of experience thriving in Scrum or Kanban environments, with a focus on iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
Strategic Collaborator: Ability to interface effectively with Business Analysts, fellow engineers, and end-users to translate needs into technical reality.
Communication & Drive: Exceptional verbal and written English skills paired with an entrepreneurial, self-starting mindset.Responsibilities
Full-Lifecycle Engineering: Lead the design, implementation, and long-term maintenance of web-based systems.
Cross-Functional Delivery: Work closely with stakeholders to build features according to precise specifications.
Technical Documentation: Author and manage comprehensive documentation to ensure system maintainability and knowledge sharing.
Troubleshooting & Support: Act as a technical escalation point for debugging complex software defects and supporting engineering teams.
Subject Matter Expert: Develop and maintain deep domain knowledge of Company’s technical architecture to guide development strategy.
