Siemens PLC Developer
We are looking for an experienced Siemens PLC Developer to design, develop, and support automation systems for lyophilization (freeze-drying) equipment. The role requires strong expertise in Siemens PLC programming, motion control systems, and industrial automation, with a focus on delivering reliable and efficient control solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, program, and troubleshoot Siemens PLC systems using TIA Portal
- Work on Siemens S7-1500 (CPU 1511) PLCs for machine automation
- Configure and integrate servo drives and motion systems (S120, G120C, V90)
- Design control logic, HMI interfaces, and automation workflows
- Commission, test, and validate automation systems at site and factory
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to PLC, drives, and field devices
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams for system integration
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and documentation practices
- Support installation, FAT/SAT, and client handover processes
Qualifications
- B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation or related field
- 5–10 years of hands-on experience in Siemens PLC programming and industrial automation
- Strong expertise in TIA Portal and Siemens S7-1500 series
- Experience with servo systems and drives (S120, G120C, V90)
- Good understanding of industrial communication protocols (Profinet, Modbus, etc.)
- Experience in pharma, lyophilization, or process automation is an added advantage
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel for site commissioning and support
Additional Information
- Knowledge of SCADA/HMI development (WinCC or similar)
- Exposure to GMP/FDA compliance in pharma equipment
- Experience in process automation and batch control systems
