The PACO supervisor is responsible for preparing, supervising and reporting on all PACO preventive and corrective maintenance work on all equipment in the field. This position covers specialised PACO work on centrifugal and reciprocating gas compressors, diesel and gas generators, gas turbines, centrifugal and reciprocating pumps, air compressors and heating systems. The position interfaces daily with SIM/OPS as needed to support production activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of the site instrumentation team
- Maintain production, processes and utilities in accordance with the company's HSSE, production and maintenance standards
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of installations
- SAP reporting
- Conduct in-depth failure analyses (RCA, RTAR, etc.)
- Fault analysis in the DCS/IPS
- Cost management/optimisation
- Ensure skills transfer to technicians
Requirements
- Degree qualified member of a recognised engineering institution, preferably with Chartered Engineer status.
- Degree in Engineering (Bachelor or more)
- Minimum of 10 years direct experience in instrument field operations in the upstream hydrocarbon producing industry, in addition he shall also have minimum experience in the engineering area of Control & Automation:
- In-depth knowledge of instrumentation, specifically gas turbines and centrifugal compressors
- Basic knowledge of automation (Honeywell & Yokogawa)
- Previous experience in team management
- Proficiency in technical documentation (PID, PACO standards, etc.)
- Proficiency in standard office software, SAP, Office Suite, PI.
