Mechanical Supervisor

The Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for preparation, supervision and reporting of all preventive and curative mechanical jobs on all equipment on the field .This position covers specialized mechanical work on centrifugal and alternative Gas Compressors, Diesel & Gas Generators, Gas Turbines, centrifugal and alternative pumps, air compressor, heater. Position has daily interface with SIM / OPS as required to support the production activities.
In this capacity you will:
- Ensure that the Technical Integrity of Mechanical equipment is maintained by the provision of specialized Mechanical expertise
- Plan and organize mechanical activities
- Perform and or coordinate maintenance and inspection tasks
- Report after intervention
- Propose maintenance task change requests, RCA studies
- Co-ordinate troubleshooting and preparation of major maintenance tasks
- Be responsible for all mechanical maintenance team
- Co-ordinate job with include other services to ensure business continuity
- Control maintenance costs and propose ways to improve availability & reliability of the equipment
- Ensure the training and skills development of your team
- Ensure compliance with the quality, safety and environmental standards of the company
Requirements
- You have operational/technical experience with 7 to 10 years in oil and gas disciplines (Maintenance, Production etc.)
- You possess a diploma in engineering of equivalent
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Well-developed team leadership skills
- Good knowledge of SAP PM & MM
- You have experience with:
- Solar & Siemens turbines
- Solar & Nuovo Pignone centrifugal compressors
- Reciprocating compressors Ariel & Dresser
- CAT & Waukesha gas engines
- Single & multistage centrifugal pumps
