As the State Manager - CIL, VIC, you will lead the state strategy for everything in our ecosystem that isn’t cars — including bikes, boats, caravans, trucks, machinery, equipment, finance, insurance, aftersales and more.
Reporting to the Head of Sales – CIL, you’ll guide a talented sales team, drive state‑level commercial outcomes, and elevate the carsales CIL brand across the Victorian market.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading, coaching and developing a high‑performing sales team to consistently achieve growth and revenue outcomes.
- Creating a collaborative, accountable and supportive team culture where success is recognised and celebrated.
- Building and strengthening relationships with the state’s largest and most strategic CIL clients.
- Designing and executing growth strategies using market insights, competitive intel, and the power of carsales’ data.
- Championing the carsales ecosystem, working cross‑functionally to bring our wider corporate strategy to life.
- Embedding deep product and category knowledge to help your team deliver value‑led customer solutions.
- Staying on top of industry shifts, emerging technologies and evolving category trends — turning insights into opportunities that strengthen our CIL strategy.
Qualifications

- Proven leadership experience within sales or account management, with a history of consistently meeting or exceeding growth targets.

- A hands‑on leadership approach — you inspire high performance, lead from the front and foster optimism.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic capability.

- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and functions.
