We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help us find and hire the people who'll shape Lemonade's future in Europe. You'll sit at the center of our European hiring efforts, partnering closely with hiring managers across Amsterdam and the EU to run full-cycle recruiting for both technical and non-technical roles.
This is a 1-year contract with the potential to become a full-time role - you'll have real ownership from day one and real impact on how we grow.
We believe three things matter for every role at Lemonade: drive to push through challenges, efficiency that keeps standards high while moving fast, and adaptability that lets you pivot with data and AI insights. These aren't buzzwords, they're how we actually work.
Our AI-first approach isn't just a tagline either. We're building the future of insurance with AI at the center, and we need people who are genuinely excited to learn and grow alongside these tools.
Run full-cycle recruiting across technical and non-technical roles — from first conversation to offer
Source and engage top candidates through professional networks, social platforms, and direct outreach
Partner with hiring managers and department leads to define what great looks like for each role, and hold the process to that standard
Use data and recruiting metrics to spot bottlenecks, support decisions, and keep hiring timelines on track
Build and maintain talent pipelines and mapping for key roles before the need becomes urgent
Drive continuous improvements to how we recruit — process, tools, and candidate experience alike
Represent Lemonade authentically at every touchpoint, making sure our culture comes through from first message to final offer
5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a fast-moving tech or insurtech environment
Background in technical engineering and product talent hiring is a plus
Fluency with sourcing techniques including Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and professional networks
Comfort working with ATS platforms and HR systems as everyday tools, not occasional ones
A data-driven mindset — you use metrics to make decisions, not just to report on them
Strong communication skills and the confidence to push back on a hiring manager when the process needs it
Experience working across time zones and with diverse, distributed teams
Genuine curiosity about AI and a willingness to integrate new tools into how you work
Ready to work in an office environment most days of the week
