Dash0 is experiencing rapid growth, and we are looking for a Team Lead for Commercial Sales to spearhead our further expansion of our existing commercial AE team across the EMEA region.
Your mission is to hire, coach, and scale a world-class team of 6–8 Account Executives, directly supporting to establish Dash0 as the category leader for OTEL native observability in the European market. While you may initially manage key accounts to understand our buyer journey, your primary focus will be the success and growth of your team.
Team Building: Own the recruitment and onboarding process for your team; you will identify, interview, and hire the next generation of Commercial AEs at Dash0.
Coaching & Mentorship: Be a hands-on leader for your team, setting clear expectations, providing pipegen & deal support and help your team navigate complex technical sales cycles.
Sales Excellence: Support your team in adopting modern sales methodologies like MEDD(P)ICC and Command of the Message effectively.
Operational Leadership: Drive a culture of high activity and meticulous pipeline management. You will be responsible for accurate team forecasting and reporting directly to leadership.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales Development, Marketing, and Solutions Architects to ensure a robust lead-to-close engine.
Culture Carrier: Lead by example from our Central Amsterdam office.
The Experience: You have 3+ years of quota-carrying experience in a closing role within B2B technology sales (SaaS). Experience in observability, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or data platforms is highly preferred.
Leadership Potential: You are either an aspiring leader with a clear track record of mentoring peers, or an existing lead/manager who loves the "zero-to-one" building phase.
Technical Credibility: You are comfortable and credible in conversations with VPs of Engineering, SREs, and Platform Engineers. You understand the shift toward OpenTelemetry.
Growth Mindset: You possess an entrepreneurial spirit and are excited by the ambiguity of a fast-paced, high-growth startup.
Disciplined: You understand the value of qualification and sales discipline, and you can teach these habits to others.
Location: You are based in or willing to relocate to Amsterdam and thrive in an in-person office culture (4 office days/week).
Direct experience selling observability, APM, or related developer tools.
Familiarity with the OpenTelemetry ecosystem.
Formal training in MEDD(P)ICC or Command of the Message.
Experience in hiring and scaling sales teams in a startup environment.
