Technical Lead - AI Product Integration
We are seeking a Technical Lead who will be pivotal in turning AI research into commercial products. In this role, you will supervise a team of data scientists and software engineers, providing technical leadership to bring AI models into production environments across various platforms. This is a hands-on role that requires deep software expertise and a collaborative approach. As a startup, we expect you to "wear many hats," covering diverse IT responsibilities and actively participating in business meetings to help shape both the technical strategy and the product roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
● Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, software engineers, and platform developers in the productization of AI models.
● Work closely with AI researchers to translate cutting-edge research into robust and efficient SDKs for multiple platforms, including Android, iOS, Unity3D, and Unreal Engine.
● Oversee the design and development of CI/CD pipelines to ensure a smooth and efficient development process. ● Collaborate with stakeholders across product, engineering, and business functions to align technical solutions with business goals.
● Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability in the integration of AI models across diverse platforms.
● Participate in strategic business discussions, offering technical insight and representing the engineering perspective.
● Contribute hands-on to the codebase as needed, leading by example and solving key technical challenges.
● Assist in IT and infrastructure management to ensure the efficiency of the development environment.
Qualifications
● Proven experience in leading software engineering teams, preferably in a startup environment.
● Extensive full-stack experience, including front-end, back-end, and systems-level development.
● Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
● Familiarity with both mobile and game engine platforms, with a deep understanding of cross-platform SDK development.
● Solid grasp of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices for scalable systems.
● Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications ●
Experience with Python and an understanding of AI frameworks such as TensorFlow.
● Experience working with real-time audio processing or sensor data.
● Familiarity with health and wellness tech products.
● Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
