Internship Overview:
Ibility is seeking a Business Development Intern to support federal market research, proposal coordination, and opportunity for pipeline management. This role is ideal for students interested in the intersection of government, healthcare, and strategy who are eager to gain exposure to real-world capture and proposal development efforts.
Working Conditions & Location: Remote/Hybrid
Duration: 10–15 weeks
Hours: 10–20 hours/week
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comparative analysis of GovTribe, Salesforce, and internal business development tracking tools Perform weekly market scans to identify new opportunities across federal agencies Draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on how to conduct market research and maintain business development documentation Coordinate with operations team on research assignments and cross-functional tasks Provide administrative support to proposal efforts, including formatting and compliance checks Skills and Areas of Interest:
Federal market research Experience performing comparative analysis and summarizing literature / documentation Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) development Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency Time management in a fast-paced, hybrid environment Problem-solving and process improvement Clear, concise written and verbal communication Preferred Qualifications:
Majors: Business Administration, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management, Health Administration, Public Health, Biology, Life Sciences, or related fields Interest in government consulting or federal health systems Strong research and writing skills Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Ability to collaborate with others remotely Learning Objectives:
Gain hands-on experience with real business development strategy and market analysis Learn how to support proposal development in a regulated environment Final Capstone:
Deliver a summary report or brief presentation on business development improvements or documentation created during the internship OR present findings on a new federal market segment and pitch a strategic approach for Ibility to enter that space
