Your role is to work hand in glove with our commercial teams to tell powerful stories about our innovation, impact, insights and more to prospective customers through a range of channels.
This is a broad and hands-on role. You’ll come highly capable on some existing marketing or communications disciplines and be hungry to develop new capabilities in a supportive team environment.
You’ll also thrive with the ownership that comes from being a “Full-Stack Storyteller” for your customer verticals: able to set and execute against strategy alongside senior commercial leaders.
On the cusp of an exciting rebrand, and with a goldmine of compelling and moving stories to tell, our Marcomms team is being built out in earnest for the first time in Beam’s history. This role will play a pivotal role in supercharging our mission through the power of storytelling.
Becoming an expert and trusted partner in your customer geography and verticals: working closely with Sales and Customer Success to proactively identify opportunities, and regularly speaking to customers to develop a deep understanding of frontline work and AI
Forward planning your integrated Marcomms strategy: you’ll have high ownership to design and execute on a strategy using a range of potential tools and channels, including:
Written and visual content - such as Insights, Success Stories, and company news - on our owned and social media
PR and influencer marketing
Conferences and hosted events
Webinars, podcasts and virtual events
Partnerships
Research reports
OOH and merchandise
Newsletters and email communications

Spotting and crafting “the story opportunity”: whether that angle is AI, social care, employment, human interest or data-led - you’ll spot it and tell it compellingly
Building journalistic and influencer networks: with Tier 1 and trade press, you’ll proactively and reactively pitch stories, and identify vertical-specific champions who command the respect of our customers
Working with functional experts to support your work: whether data-driven performance marketers, designers or with our global events support, you’ll work collaboratively and move fast
A natural storyteller: spotting the hook and holding people’s attention with ideas, words and visual components comes naturally to you
A doer: AI will accelerate us, but you still enjoy the craft of writing and satisfaction of getting stuff done, whether writing an award-winning award application or securing a high-profile podcast for a cofounder
Results-driven: you thrive working towards ambitious targets that mean you - as a Full Stack Marketer - let us punch above our weight with brand awareness in our SMB and Enterprise verticals
Adaptive and resilient: you thrive in a dynamic environment and are optimistic about overcoming obstacles while maintaining motivation
Passionate: you’ll be using using the power of storytelling to help deliver our mission
High level of autonomy and ownership: as the sole “storyteller” accountable for your verticals, it will be your job to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and the knowledge necessary to tell stories effectively
At least 4 years’ relevant experience: you’ll need to have got your hands dirty with at least two of Social Media, Blogging, PR, Events, and Email Marketing
Hunger to level up your Marcomms capabilities: you’ll have deep curiosity to level up in new disciplines to become a true Swiss Army Knife of Marcomms, and the ability to swiftly learn and use tools like Webflow, Canva, Figma and Customer.io
Excellent written and spoken English: you are adept at writing clear, concise, human English and can tailor messages to audiences, whether senior government officials, frontline staff, or prospective employees. Bonus points for fluency in any European languages too.
Creativity: there is no playbook, you’ll be writing it with the support of other “Full Stack Storytellers” from across Beam
