Engagement Overview
BiOptimizers is engaging a contractor to support the customer service department to maintain our high performance standards by answering customer tickets and calls. The contractor will work closely with internal teams, contribute to shared workflows, and maintain regular communication.
This engagement is structured as an independent contract. The contractor will invoice for services rendered and is responsible for complying with the assigned work schedule, maintaining required tools, and managing their own tax obligations.
Responsibilities
● Provide multi-channel support by managing phone calls, tickets, chat, and social media interactions.
● Deliver accurate and timely assistance to resolve inquiries, complaints, and return/refund requests while following company procedures and policies.
● Build strong customer relationships through clear, empathetic, and proactive communication.
● Assist customers with orders by providing guidance, processing purchases, and ensuring a smooth ordering experience.
This scope may evolve during the engagement with mutual agreement
Required Qualifications:
● Customer Service experience
● Ideal if they have knowledge of Zoho, Aircall, Shopify and Google environment
● Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
● Prior experience supporting Customers
● Familiarity with remote work collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Notion, Google Meet, Zoom)
Engagement Terms:
● Compensation: Hourly
● Invoicing: Contractor will invoice BiOptimizers directly monthly
● Payment Terms: Net 30
● Work Hours: Work hours will be fixed and scheduled within the 9:00 AM–9:00 PM ET operating window. Weekend shifts are part of the regular schedule and rotate among all agents.
● Equipment: Contractor is expected to use their own tools unless otherwise specified.
This is a fully remote position. BiOptimizers has a globally distributed team and supports flexible work arrangements across time zones.
With team members across many countries and time zone differences of up to 16 hours, we’ve established a standard collaboration window from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST.
This is not a required work schedule, but a shared time frame for meetings and team syncs. At BiOptimizers, we support flexibility — team members are encouraged to work the hours that best suit them, as long as they:
Attend required meetings
Communicate effectively across time zones
Deliver work by agreed-upon deadlines
