Dental Biller - Accounts Receivable Experience Required

Staffing for Doctors is currently seeking an experienced Dental Biller with a strong background in accounts receivable. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the billing cycle, from generating invoices to processing payments and addressing any outstanding account issues. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of the dental practice and ensuring that all patients and insurance companies are billed accurately and promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and send invoices for dental services rendered.
• Post payments from patients and insurance companies accurately.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure accurate and timely billing practices.
• Address billing inquiries from patients and resolve any discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of billing activities and reconcile accounts regularly.
• Prepare reports on accounts receivable status and outstanding balances.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in dental billing and accounts receivable management.
• Strong knowledge of dental billing practices, codes, and insurance processes.
• Proficiency in using Dentrix and Weave.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with financial reporting and analytics is a plus.
