We are currently seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor for Events. In this role, you will support the Events team in delivering flawless service during banquets, meetings, private dinners and large-scale events. We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys leading a team on the floor and knows how to elevate every guest experience with attention to detail and genuine hospitality.
What you’ll do
Ensure exceptional service and smooth operations during Events | Supervise and coordinate the service team during banquets, meetings, receptions and private events | Act as a warm and professional host during events, ensuring guests feel welcomed and cared for | Lead the team on the floor and support colleagues during service, leading by example | Coordinate closely with the kitchen, bar and Events office to ensure seamless timing and execution | Ensure event set-ups are flawless and aligned with the BEO (Banquet Event Order) and guest expectations | Handle last-minute changes and requests professionally and efficiently | Monitor stock levels, event supplies and equipment before, during and after service | Ensure proper breakdown and reset of event spaces after each function | Inspire and motivate the team, fostering a positive and professional working atmosphere | Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, safety and presentation throughout all events.
Who are you
You have at least 3 years of Food & Beverage experience, preferably within a luxury or high-end hospitality environment | Proven experience in a supervisory or senior service role (e.g. Chef de Rang or Supervisor) | A natural host with a passion for creating unforgettable guest moments | Strong knowledge of service, beverages and a love for refined details such as tea service and presentation | Fluent in Dutch and English, with excellent communication skills | Highly organized, calm under pressure and energized by a fast-moving environment | Proactive, solution-oriented and attentive to detail | A positive team player who inspires others with clarity, kindness and professionalism.
Nice to have
Experience in a luxury or international hotel | Experience working with international guests and VIP events | Knowledge of fine dining service techniques and luxury hospitality standards | Creative flair to surprise and delight guests.
