Fullstack Software Developer
Brief
CC.Talent is looking for a highly skilled Fullstack Software Developer to support the continued development and expansion of BSET, an AI-powered ERP platform built specifically for the civil construction, earthmoving, plant hire, and infrastructure industries.
The ideal candidate has strong experience building production-grade systems across backend, frontend, automation, and AI layers. This role is suited for a senior-level developer who enjoys solving complex operational problems, working closely with founders and stakeholders, and delivering scalable, real-world solutions.
Client Details:
Our client is an established Australian civil construction company with a strong operational footprint and a growing workforce. BSET is a purpose-built ERP, automation, and AI platform developed internally and currently operating as a live MVP within the business. Originally built using Claris FileMaker, BSET is now undergoing a full native rebuild using modern cloud architecture, including custom migration tooling to transition live data and workflows without disrupting day-to-day operations.
Platform Development
Design, build, and scale core backend and frontend components of the BSET platform
Architect and implement scalable Supabase/PostgreSQL schemas, APIs, and security models (RLS)
Develop web and mobile features that support operational and field workflows
Automation & AI
Design and deploy event-driven automation and background jobs using n8n
Implement and manage AI agents for finance, operations, and estimating functions
Work with modern AI tools and frameworks, including OpenAI and Claude
Data Migration & Integrations
Build and maintain migration tooling to transition live data from Claris FileMaker
Integrate third-party systems such as Xero, Microsoft 365, GPS platforms, and other external services
Collaboration & Delivery
Work closely with the founder and internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and production-ready
Contribute to architectural decisions supporting long-term product growth and future commercialization
Technical Environment
Backend: Supabase (PostgreSQL, RLS, Edge Functions, Storage, pgvector)
Frontend: React, Next.js, Expo
Automation: n8n, background jobs, event-driven workflows
AI: OpenAI, Claude, task-specific agent architecture
Qualifications
Graduate of any Bachelor’s Degree
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Strong full-stack development experience using modern JavaScript/TypeScript
Deep understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and backend architecture
Proven experience building and maintaining production-grade systems
Comfortable working directly with founders and business stakeholders
Strong problem-solving skills with a high level of ownership and accountability
Interest or experience in automation and AI-driven workflows
