We are seeking a seasoned, high-caliber Head of Operations to lead and synchronize our core support departments. This is a critical executive-level role responsible for driving the performance of HR, Finance, Property Management, Executive Support, and Continuous Improvement.
The ideal candidate is a visionary operations leader who can break down silos, optimize cross-departmental workflows, and ensure that the "engine room" of the company runs with precision and scalability.
Key Responsibilities & Oversight
As the Head of Operations, you will provide strategic direction and daily management for:
- Finance & HR: Ensuring financial integrity, payroll accuracy, talent acquisition & retention, and cultural alignment with UK standards.
- Property Management: Overseeing the property management team and driving the P&L strategies for the department.
- Continuous Improvement (BA Team): Driving the "Process First" mindset. You will lead the team of Business Analysts to audit, document, and re-engineer workflows across the entire organization.
- Executive Support: Managing the PA to the CEO to ensure seamless administrative alignment and priority management.
Location and Work Environment
- Office Based: Rajagiriya, Colombo.
- Hours: UK Standard working hours (SL 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM).
- Flexibility: Required for high-level coordination with international teams and the CEO.
Requirements
Educational & Professional Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.
- 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 5-8 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple departments.
- Proven track record in driving organizational efficiency and managing diverse teams (Finance, HR, and Tech/Ops).
- Fluency in Spoken and Written English is mandatory for reporting to the CEO and UK-based stakeholders.
Technical & Leadership Skills
- Operational Excellence: Deep understanding of process mapping and documentation (Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies are a plus).
- Financial Acumen: Ability to oversee budgeting, P&L reporting, and resource allocation.
- Strategic Leadership: Ability to mentor department heads and make high-stakes decisions under pressure.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in ERPs, Project Management tools (Asana/ClickUp), and the Microsoft Office 365 ecosystem.
