As the leader of the talent acquisition function, this role is equal parts strategist, builder, and culture carrier. You will design and scale recruiting systems that consistently attract, assess, and confidently hire top-tier talent, while partnering deeply with leadership to anticipate and meet the company’s scaling workforce needs. The Senior Director, Talent Acquisition is accountable for building a hiring engine that compounds talent quality over time, strengthens trust across the organization, and enables the business to win through people.
Responsibilities:
Lead the overall talent acquisition strategy to support company growth and long-term workforce planning.
Build, manage, and develop a high-performing recruiting team and talent acquisition infrastructure.
Partner with executives and business unit leadership to understand hiring needs and define role requirements.
Design and implement scalable recruiting processes, systems, and best practices.
Manage the capacity of the team, tracking when to use temporary support vs new full time roles.
Strengthen employer branding and candidate experience to attract top-tier talent.
Develop sourcing strategies and talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
Monitor recruiting metrics and optimize performance through data-driven decision-making.
Ensure compliance with employment laws, hiring regulations, and internal policies.
Drive continuous improvement in hiring efficiency, quality of hire, and team performance.
10+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition or recruiting leadership, including experience scaling teams in high-growth environments.
Proven track record of building and executing successful recruiting strategies for diverse functions and senior-level roles.
Strong leadership and people development skills with experience managing recruiting teams.
Expertise in sourcing, talent pipeline development, and hiring process optimization.
Strong business acumen with the ability to align talent strategy with organizational goals.
Experience leveraging recruiting technology, ATS platforms, and talent analytics.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Consistently meet or exceed hiring goals for key roles across the organization.
Improve time-to-fill and quality-of-hire metrics while maintaining an exceptional candidate experience.
Build a scalable recruiting engine capable of supporting rapid company growth.
Establish strong talent pipelines for mission-critical roles and future leadership needs.
Increase hiring manager satisfaction through effective partnership and streamlined processes.
Strengthen the company’s employer brand and reputation in the talent market.
Deliver a high-performing talent acquisition team that operates with accountability, efficiency, and excellence.
Able to work M-F onsite at the Acquisition.com Las Vegas headquarters with the goal of being available during all events PST (hours may vary)
Must be flexible and able to work additional hours/weekends before workshop events/holidays if the situation warrants it

$200-250K base salary + bonus
The salary range may be inclusive of several levels that would be applicable to the position. Final salary will be based on a number of factors including, level, relevant prior experience, skills, and expertise. This range is only inclusive of base salary, not benefits (more details below).
