As University Relations & Employer Branding Manager (all genders), you will drive the strategic development of our employer brand and help build sustainable talent pipelines - especially within the university ecosystem.
You will shape how we position ourselves as an employer, build long-term partnerships with universities, and design engaging recruiting events that inspire candidates to join Avelios.
Your main responsibilities cover several different focus areas:
Employer Branding
Develop and continuously refine our employer branding strategy, including target audience definition and messaging
Manage and optimize our employer presence across key channels (e.g., careers page, LinkedIn, Kununu)
University Relations
Build and maintain strategic partnerships with target universities in Germany and internationally
Identify relevant degree programs and academic departments to support our talent pipelines
Plan and organize university activities such as talks, career events, and workshops to increase awareness of Avelios and attract students and graduates
Recruiting Events & Talent Community
Design and organize recruiting events for different target groups (e.g., students, graduates, experienced professionals)
Identify, select, and organize participation in relevant career fairs to strengthen Avelios’ visibility among target talent groups
Develop new formats to engage talent and build early relationships with potential candidates
Establish a talent community to maintain long-term connections with prospective candidates
Completed degree in Business, (Business) Psychology, or a comparable field from a top university
Experience in building employer brands, storytelling and developing talent networks, ideally in a startup environment
Existing network with top universities or student communities is a plus
Strong understanding of target audiences, storytelling, and employer brand positioning
Strong organizational and communication skills
Enjoy working in a fast-paced startup environment with a hands-on attitude
Very good German and English skills
