Job Title: Welder (Level 2–3)

Pay Rate: $20.00 – $29.00/hour
Position Overview
We are currently hiring experienced Welders to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves performing a variety of welding and fabrication tasks while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform welding using MIG, TIG, wire welders, spot welders, and oxy-acetylene torches
Clean, grind, and finish welds to meet required standards
Set up and position materials using handling equipment or manual layout methods for fabrication or rework
Operate hand tools such as grinders, sanders, and wire wheels for finishing work
Weld structural components such as I-beams, frames, and fuel tanks in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
Assemble components by clamping, tack welding, drilling, milling, tapping, cutting, and bolting as needed
Inspect materials, tools, and equipment for defects or operational issues
Produce welds in accordance with blueprints and technical specifications
Examine completed welds and perform repairs or rework when necessary
Replace welding wire and gas as required
Ensure all equipment is properly set up and used safely throughout the welding process
Maintain welding machines and tools, including performing routine checks and reporting maintenance needs
Assist with pressure testing of fabricated parts and complete any required rework
Complete tasks within established production timelines and quality standards
Accurately track time and completed work using timesheets
Report any issues related to materials, production, quality, or safety to supervisors

Qualifications
Prior welding experience preferred (level will be evaluated through assessment)
Hands-on experience with welding equipment and fabrication tools
Basic math skills and ability to use measuring instruments
Education & Training
High School Diploma or equivalent required
MIG Welding Certification preferred
TIG Welding Certification is a plus
Vocational training or previous welding coursework is an advantage
