Change.org is searching for a Marketing Operations Specialist in Mexico to enable the MarComms team (which spans 40 people across 13 markets) to operate efficiently and confidently by leading tooling support, strengthening core operational systems, supporting the transition to automated tracking and reporting, and providing high-quality project management across cross-functional initiatives. You will report to our Chief of Staff to the CMO.

Key Outcomes:
Tooling Ecosystem is Structured and Reliable: MarComms has a well-managed and clearly documented tooling ecosystem (tooling supports media relations, traditional & social media monitoring, social posting & management, project management with Asana), with strong onboarding materials, structured guidance, and a clear feedback loop to ensure tools remain effective and aligned with team needs.
Automated Reporting is Successfully Implemented and Adopted: The transition to automated tracking and reporting is effectively supported through strong coordination, documentation, workflow mapping, and project management. MarComms teams are confident in navigating and using dashboards.
Core Operational Systems Are Strengthened: Foundational MarComms systems are organized and dependable, including onboarding materials, playbook updates and version control, centralized calendar management, and documentation hygiene.
Cross-Functional Projects Move Forward Effectively: Cross-functional projects are in progress with clear timelines, stakeholder involvement etc.
The most important core competencies for the role are:
Tooling & Systems Management: Ability to manage and improve a portfolio of operational tools (media monitoring, social tools, project management systems), ensure strong configuration and documentation and create clarity around how tools support team workflows and reporting.
Project Management Excellence: Highly organized and detail-oriented project manager who can coordinate timelines, stakeholders, documentation and follow-through across cross-functional initiatives.
Operational Rigor: Strong at building and maintaining structured systems and documentation – with consistency, ownership and attention to detail.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Comfortable working across teams and functions, facilitating alignment and ensuring stakeholders have the information and clarity needed to move work forward.
Problem-Solving: Able to proactively identify friction in tools and processes and propose solutions/improvements.
AI Aptitude: Candidates should be comfortable using AI tools in day-to-day workflows and applying them to improve operational efficiency.
Target experience:
3-5 years of experience in operations, program management, marketing operations or a similar role
Experience using Meltwater Explore, Engage, and Klear required
Demonstrated experience managing operational tools (e.g., onboarding teams to tools, maintaining systems, creating documentation, improving workflows)
Experience supporting reporting workflows, dashboards or operational system transitions preferred
Proven experience managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
Experience maintaining documentation systems (e.g., Confluence or similar knowledge bases)
Experience working within marketing, communications or growth-oriented teams preferred

This is a full time, remote role based anywhere in Mexico.
Our compensation philosophy is based on pay equity. All of our salaries are determined before we launch a role – they are based on a predetermined salary scale, the level on that scale and the cost of labor for that location. The salary of a Marketing Operations Specialist in Mexico is MX$76,208/month gross via a local third-party entity.
