Procurement Officer
Our client URGENTLY requires a Procurement Officer for 36 months + Contract in Buderim.
The Procurement Officer will assist in the processing of procurement methodologies and practices to support the delivery of transport infrastructure. You will be required to contribute and provide procurement advice for a range of projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Interpret, provide advice, and apply procurement policy and procedures in line with Departmental and Whole of Government criteria.
- Monitor and review end to end procurement activity, including the completion of procurement planning, documentation review, evaluation review and supply arrangements establishment and maintenance.
- Support complex procurement projects by undertaking administrative support functions and manage the administrative side of assets and managed items, including sourcing, stocktake, useful life review and disposal.
- Liaise, negotiate and communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders regarding procurement processes, procedures, training and delegations.
Government experience would be highly advantageous.
