About the Role
As an Provider Partnerships Associate, you will be part of an innovative cross-functional team working to transform the delivery of patient care services in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This is a dynamic role involves direct provider interactions to expand and maintain the HMO’s network of physicians, hospitals, and clinics. You will develop and manage healthcare provider relationships, create and execute growth and retention strategies, and provide direct input into product feature improvements.
Responsibilities
Expand Provider Network
Accredit facilities and physicians based on member needs
Grow the network strategically in line with account distribution
Lead negotiations for competitive rates with healthcare providers
Maintain Provider Relationships and Increase Retention
Establish and manage relationships with healthcare providers (hospitals, clinics, physicians, etc.)
Ensure accurate and timely updates to provider information and services
Manage day-to-day relationships and address provider concerns
Maintain a good retention rate for providers continuing to accept Hive Health-HPPI members
Support Company Objectives
Assist in product development, business development, and customer success in line with the provider network
Administrative Duties
Create, process, and organize healthcare provider contracts
Create and distribute communication materials for providers
Plan and coordinate provider-related events and initiatives
Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Medical Operations team, including but not limited to verifications, accreditation, coordination with providers, etc.
Qualifications
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
Organized, with high attention to detail
Creative, strategic, and proactive in problem solving
At least 2 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, account management, partnerships, or related fields (medical background is a plus)
Curious, results-driven, ownership mentality with growth mindset
Excellent verbal and written communications
Collaborative team player with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Passion for innovation in healthcare
Recruitment Process
Interview with HR (30 minutes)
Take home assessment (2 days to accomplish)
Panel interview with MedOps team (45 minutes)
Final interview with co-founders (45 minutes)
