Position's Overview:
The HR Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in optimizing administrative performance for hourly staff. By combining analytical rigor with cross-functional collaboration, this role ensures the integrity of the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding. The central objective is to guarantee impeccable compliance and rigorous payroll accuracy, directly contributing to operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
What You Will Do:
Lifecycle Management & Operational Support: Ensure the seamless execution of HR processes (onboarding, offboarding, requests) while scrupulously meeting deadlines and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Time Reconciliation & Payroll Compliance: Conduct bi-weekly audits of timesheets in accordance with contracts and internal policies to eliminate payroll errors.
Data Governance & Integrity: Maintain HR system accuracy through regular audits of employee files and rigorous management of personnel movements (e.g., job abandonment).
Regulatory Compliance & Audits: Actively participate in the verification of official documents and immigration status for foreign workers to ensure compliance with legal standards.
Internal Customer Service & Collaboration: Act as a responsive point of contact for hourly employees and support operations during peak recruitment periods to facilitate the welcoming of new talent.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
Experience: 1 year of experience in an HR-related role.
Bilingualism (French and English): French is required as it is the language in the Quebec province.
Intermediate Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets: Capable of using basic formulas (SUM, AVERAGE, VLOOKUP) and formatting data correctly. Requires assistance for debugging or complex data manipulation.
HRIS Experience: Experience with a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) is considered an asset.
